Beyond Greed, Anger & Delusion by Kurtis Brand 60" × 70"
Acrylic on Canvas with Oil Pastel and Charcoal
Cream and sky blue crowded with pink, chartreuse, and crimson, the color running in long drips down the whole surface. Dark masses settle along the bottom edge and at the upper right. Full spectrum, unbroken density, three poisons worked through until they open.
A major piece at five by nearly six feet. Made for a great room, a stairwell, or a studio wall that can hold it. The palette is wide enough to sit with almost any room; give it distance and let the drips read from across the space.
