Pita Maguey uses the string that is harvested from the same plant that the agave plant. The artist worked with this material in exploration and layering to determine a strong structure.

The frame is made from sustainably harvested wood from Izabal Forest in Rio Dulce.

Made out of natural dye, the individual strands of the maguey plant were boiled and dried before working with this structure.
