Acrylic on Canvas with Charcoal, Crayon, and Pencil
Pale blue grey ground worked over in black, red, and gold, with a saffron burst anchoring the lower right. The word itself appears and reappears across the surface in a drawn hand. Cool field, hot accents, a name repeating until it becomes a mark.
Square and active, with one clear center of gravity. Works in a living room, an office, or a stair landing. The cool ground sits well against white and grey; the gold lifts in warm evening light.
