Your Rocket (Is Just Another Phallic Daydream) by Kurtis Brand
32" × 48"
Acrylic on Canvas with Oil Pastel and Charcoal
Cream and blush ground rising into open light at the top, with turquoise, red, and black forms clustered along the bottom edge. Drawn line runs throughout, sketching structures that read as launch pads, towers, and machinery. Light palette, grounded base, wit held in the drawing.
Wide and bright, with real energy in the lower half. Good in a living room, a studio, or an office wall that can take a title. The pale ground keeps it easy in any palette; the accents pick up red and teal in the room.
