Samu means work practice. Work is practice, life is practice, mindfulness in daily activity, the way of the #Bodhisattva. This piece is made with a single meditation and cut. I use a light pencil line to guide, but otherwise, it is freehand. 

Items like the curling occur because of the weight of the canvas. This has been perfected over years of trial and error. 

This piece is offered in two sizes: 

  • 36" x 36" 
  • 48" x 48"
