One Unites (Those That Are Divided) by Kurtis Brand 44" × 24"
Acrylic on Canvas with Chalk and Charcoal
Deep crimson worked over the full height, scratched and drawn into throughout. A dark figure descends near the top through a break of blue and white; yellow and grey surface along the lower right. Saturated red, layered marks, vertical descent.
Tall and singular. Made for a chimney breast, a stair wall, or a narrow vertical space between windows. The red governs whatever room it enters; keep the surroundings quiet and let it lead.
